Once upon a time, the Urban Growing Club sprouted from an idea born in the US. With 10,000 educational aeroponic towers flourishing across American schools, European educators sought a way to align with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals.
Back home, European educators were looking for ways to engage students in meaningful learning experiences, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These goals provided a roadmap for schools to inspire environmental sustainability and social responsibility.
The concept was simple yet brilliant: What if European schools could introduce Tower Gardens to teach eco-friendly farming, reduce waste, and support SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) and SDG 13 (Climate Action)? The Urban Growing Club was born, spreading across Europe. Tower Gardens popped up in classrooms, nurturing fresh produce and eco-conscious students, united by a passion for growth and sustainability.
